Relaxed, authentic, beautiful gardens

It was a very hot day and we struggled with the heat

Our group (two couples) absolutely loved our stay at the guesthouse! The space was beautiful, surrounded by nature with lots of nice communal spaces to spend time inside and out. The rooms were private and comfy. The kitchen was simple but easy to prepare meals in. We loved the location, easy to access supermarket, wineries and beaches all within a walk/bus/short drive. Great value for money!

Lovely down to earth and back to basics, quiet and beautifully located. An amazing eclectic guesthouse with all the amenities, intriguing collection of entiquities. Super comfortable bed. If you love the peaceful, no nonsense, lifestyle, no thrills, at a very reasonable price, its certainly for you. Lovely location, easy reach to Palm beach and the local bus stop for the more fit and able.

The house is quirky, eclectic and interesting, with lots of wood and charm. The garden is lovely and available to enjoy. The host was lovely and friendly. The shared kitchen facilities were good and clean.

The location is questionable. There is an incredibly steep driveway which is fine if you are young and fit, not it you are not. Lugging cases up and down an extremely steep driveway of about 30m is no fun. This was not clearly mentioned in the Booking.com advert. I checked the guesthouse website and it is mentioned right at the end of the writeup. Although the advert mentioned a private bathroom, what is not clear, is that the bathroom is downstairs from the bedroom we stayed in, and through a common area, so going to the toilet at night down a rickety staircase, passing a kitchen was not comfortable.

Mosquitoes and too thin walls and floor could hear everyone and anyone walking no privacy so good for backpackers or solo travellers

The accommodation had lots of charm and quirky touches, with a real bohemian vibe. Check-in was very straightforward and available amenities were well-communicated.

We experienced some noise from the room above (although thankfully this did not continue for long)

Cute guest house, the bed was so comfortable.
