Apartments VMadeira

Our stay in this apartment was unfortunately very disappointing. When we arrived, there was no hot water, and the hosts seemed completely unaware of the problem. We had to spend a significant amount of time dealing with technicians, who eventually determined that the boiler was out of service.Because a new boiler had to be purchased and installed, we were moved to another apartment two floors below for the next two days. However, the situation there was not much better. The air conditioning/heating system was not functioning properly, and the temperature inside the apartment was only around 15°C, which made the stay very uncomfortable. Once again, we had to deal with a technician who tried to convince us that everything was working properly, despite the obvious issue with the temperature. Spending 2 out of a 7-day stay dealing with technical problems and disputes like this is far too much. It was inconvenient, inappropriate, and reflects a lack of responsibility and proper preparation on the part of the hosts

Although the location of the apartment is excellent, the hosts need to be more responsible and check the apartment in every aspect before receiving guests. In addition to the broken boiler and the malfunctioning air conditioning, the wine opener in the apartment was also broken. It seems that their rules regarding check-in and check-out are strict, but everything else is handled rather loosely.

Fantastic location . 3D is a Good sized studio with all essentials. Bathroom tired looking but great shower , good hairdryer and perfectly fine otherwise. Daria and Elvio were brilliant at responding to any requests we had.

Lift was out of order but fixed in a day or so. It is tiny and very slow so we used the stairs mainly as claustrophobic! No plug in kitchen sink so a small bowl would be handy and plug in bathroom sink didn’t work. Could do with a full length wall mirror in studio room and bedside chests would be better with drawers. We wanted to use bed settee instead of 2 in double bed but although there was spare pillows and duvet, there was no linen. Elvio delivered next day. Bed settee is quite hard to pull out and we couldn’t fold it away. There’s no balcony or outside area but 3 big windows. No sun or nice outlook apart from distant mountains but that didn’t worry us as we were out every day exploring stunning Madeira.

nao gostei do facto do elevador estar avariado todo o tempo da estadia, e foi muito complicado subir e descer tres andares com as malas
