The overall presentation of this accommodation has been done to a thoughtful and to a very nice standard. We stayed in the 'Terra' room which is on the ground floor close to the main hall/mini foyer space. On arrival, the room was clean and has enough storage for a 4 to 5 day mini-break/holiday which is how long we stayed for (we returned to London on 19th Oct 2023). The room also has a TV mounted to the wall, a desk with a kettle, tea bags, packaged croissants and a mini fridge which had two bottles of water inside. The bathroom was very well presented. We had an ample amount of clean towels, toilet rolls and the shower had a good temperature and a great amount of water pressure. Also, when you go up the steps from the main hall/mini foyer, there is a lovely roof terrace where you can sit, read a book, have a drink etc. It is well secured too, you need your room's key card to access the main gate, the front door and then to enter your room. Depending on how fast you walk, you are literally 10 minutes walk away from the centre of Catania where you can visit plenty of restaurants, shops etc on Via Etnea, see the Fountain of the Elephant, the Castle etc. On arrival do not be put off by the overall presentation of the street where this accommodation is located because once you get inside it is like a wonderful, calm haven of peace from Catania which can be busy and noisy like any other busy town or city. On a final note, I cannot praise Giusi enough - she is an exceptional host for this lovely accommodation! Giusi is thoughtful, attentive and accessible. I used Google Translator alot to message Giusi via WhatsApp but this was absolutely fine. She is a very lovely host, her overall customer service is excellent. Regarding breakfast, this is available to have in the mini cafe literally 1 minute from the accomodation. It is quite a basic offer with the usual croissants, coffee, hot chocolate etc.

Location and facilities are great. Very close to touristic city center and good restaurants in the surrounding. Personnel very kind and servicing.

The ways to arrive by public transportation are quite limited and hard to get reliable public transportation (not a problem of the property but it makes it harder for the guest). The breakfast is very limited in choice and quantity. An extra cup of coffee must be paid.

Everything was incredible. I was in touch with the host even before my trip and she was the most helpful person I have ever come across. from arranging transfers to and from the airport, to booking a tour of mount etna. She asked how the trip was going throughout the whole stay and asked if I needed anything. she provided some incredible recommendations and made my stay perfect! The property is also incredible in a really excellent location, the balcony is amazing to relax in and the room was very very modern. I only have Nice words to say about Giusi, she is welcoming, helpful and I’ve never come across a host like her! thank you for an incredible stay.
