Sweet Emotion

Charming guesthouse with large clean rooms run by kind owners. Ganga made us very welcome with a fresh coconut from their garden and along with her husband took the time to talk to us upon arrival. She also helped us with aanging onward transport when we left Mirassa. We liked the location as the property is away from the busy coastal road but still only 5 minutes walk from Turtle beach and Coconut Hill. We recommend the ample beautifully cooked breakfast (available upon request). Finally, we were shown what in the near future will be a beautiful open Yoga studio to add to the property when finishing touches are complete.

We've been to Mirissa a few times and this is one of the nicest places we've stayed. The rooms are large and very clean with a mini fridge. The room feels very cool with both A/C and ceiling fan. The bathroom was also large with a nice shower! The water pressure in the shower was great as well. We would definitely stay again!

The breakfast was very good, fresh produce and excellent service from the staff. They are always trying to make you feel comfortable and make sure all is done well. When I arrived they gave me a fresh coconut, from their own garden, and took the time to talk to me. Besides this I felt I could ask them anything, which I didn't, but they made me feel at home there. I would definitely go here again when I visit the country again.

The only thing I could say is that they were doing some construction works, after the morning, but this is only to be nitpicking and find an answer to this question. Really enjoyed my stay here!

- great location (5 min walk to Turtle beach/Coconut Hill) - amazing, very kind owners who were very accomodating - large spacious rooms - aircon and ceiling fans that worked very well to keep the room cool

- lots of mosquitos in the bathroom unfortunately but this is of no fault to the property. Just something for guests to be mindful of in Sri Lanka - no mosquito net however in hindsight, I didn’t ask if they had any available

Very nice homely feel, close to the beach, quiet location, large comfortable room, good minimalistic decor and friendly host!

Would be great to include breakfast at the price point.

The house is located away from the road, on a hill. Two numbers. Each room has a shower and hot water, hair dryer. Shared kitchen for two rooms. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Everything is very clean, nice white and towels. The beach is about 15 minutes walk. We rented a motorbike (400 rupees / 1 day). Buy mosquito spray. On the street in the evening, it can come in handy. There is a mosquito repellant in the room. There is air conditioning. There is a generator. The owners of the house are very attractive, pleasant and friendly people. Owner Ganga, the soul of the house. Sumit's husband is a guardian and helper. We recommend this house.

Ganga and Sumith are amazing hosts! There are many advantages about this place: great location - minutes to turtle beach, WiFi is great and reliable for remote work, power generator, nicely equipped kitchen - everything you need for short or long stay. Room is spacious and very comfortable. Ganga and Sumith will make your stay perfect.
