Maa Ji House on Lake Pichola

Our staying in this guest house was the best, not only because we had a big and clean room for a fare price but also because the owner was a really nice person, helpful from the beginning to the end of our journey. He speaks good English, we reached to him many times by phone to ask for some help and he was always available and helpful. He also orgnized for us a tuk tuk tour out of the city with a really nice diver who was speking really good English too. Position right in the city center,, just 5 minutes walking from the gate of city palace and many shops and restaurants on thr street Last but not least, the roof top has an incredibile lake view! We hope we'll find a guesthouse at that level in the next cities we're gonna visit!

Nothing to complain about for the price we paid.

I really like the terrace view after the dinner we had a quality time with family at terrace with music. Location was perfectly plan long before we travel. Staff were good and well mannered. The stay was excellent, cozy and very center of the city. Travel time was less and also easy accessible from public transport. The day we check out the journey time was late evening so, he let us stay for few hrs at the hotel .The owner is too good he understand our problems.

Elevator is needed to reach 3rd floor. Small almirah required to keep clothes in each room. Morning tea was good but Paratha needs more training.

The property has excellent view (one of the best). Udaipur palace and other locations are at a walkable distance.

The rooftop restaurant was barely open or staffed.

No real customer service or staff. Our room looked straight into a neighbouring rooftop with people living on so no privacy at all.

Situated in the best location for a tourist. Most of the tourist spots mins walk away. Terrace view is splendid.
