Die Bilder bei Booking stimmen nicht. In meinem Fenster war die Fensterscheibe zerbrochen und mit einem Klebeband geflickt, davor flatterte ein zerrissenes Moskitonetz. Entgegen den Angaben bei Booking gab es Kein Frühstück. Es gibt lediglich zwei Tassen und einen Wasserkocher, kein Löffel, kein Teller, nichts. Die Außenanlagen sind in einem desolaten Zustand. Unzählige verdorrte Büsche und Pflanzen, der auf Bildern gezeigte Teich ist ohne Wasser, überall auf dem Grundstück liegen Scherben, Zement,säcke, Bretter. Die Anlage liegt hoch am Hang und für ältere Menschen nur mit einem Auto oder einem Roller zugänglich. Autos kann man auf der Insel nicht leihen, nur Roller. Vom Strand oder der nächsten Taverne läuft man in der glühenden Hitze circa 20 Minuten ständig bergauf zum Haus. Ins nächste Dorf läuft man bergauf circa 35 Minuten. Angelo Der einzige Angestellte erzählte mir, dass die Anlage vor zwei Jahren an einen reichen Reeder verkauft wurde., der gar nichts für die Anlage tut und nur an der Rendite interessiert ist Ich hatte vier Tage gebucht und habe mir nach zwei Tagen eine andere Unterkunft gesucht

Disappointing Stay – Poor Air Conditioning, Unprofessional Response We booked this room for a 4-night stay at over €500, expecting at least basic comfort and hospitality. While we were greeted by the manager upon arrival, things quickly went downhill. As recent reviews have noted, the outdoor areas like the garden are neglected, and the indoor facilities are outdated and in need of renovation. However, the main issue for us was the non-functioning air conditioning. After just 90 minutes inside the room, we were both sweating heavily while doing nothing but sitting. The ceiling fan was also on but made no difference. The A/C unit was clearly old, poorly maintained, and completely ineffective. We called the manager, who arrived quickly, but rather than acknowledging the issue, he blamed the heatwave and told us to wait longer for the room to cool. That never happened. We asked for another room with working A/C, but he claimed to be fully booked – despite another room still showing as available on Booking.com. He made no offer to call a technician or take any concrete action to solve the issue. After waiting two more hours in unbearable heat and with no support offered, we had no choice but to leave and find another room. Within 5 minutes of entering our new accommodation (which was also cheaper), the room was cool and comfortable. So clearly, the heatwave excuse was not valid. The most disappointing part came afterward: the manager told us Booking.com was responsible for refunding the money and that their fee was 30%. Both statements were false – Booking.com's commission is 17%, and the manager was the only one responsible for issuing a refund. In the end, he refunded us only €230 – less than half of what we paid. This experience showed a lack of professionalism, honesty, and accountability. It's deeply frustrating to see this level of service in the tourism industry.
