Hotel Okatex

Obiekt typu przespać się i nic więcej. Nie porywa, ale nie przyciąga, względnie czysto, ale wystrój wnętrz i całości obiektu wymaga juz odświeżenia.

Śniadanie słabe, Wędliny, napoje, czy składniki widac wszystko jak najtańsze. Po prostu ujdzie.

Staff were friendly and tried their best to communicate with us in English when there was not an English speaking person available. An hours walk from Stagluft 3 which was the reason for our stay in the area.

This is not really a Hotel as the photo on the website suggests. Rather it seems to be an annexe of some sort attached to another hotel called Willa Park. Check in was confusing as there is not a sign for Hotel Okatex and only when we went into Willa Park were we told yes you can check in here. Not sure of standards in Poland but I do.not believe the doors were fire doors on the rooms, no smoke detectors in the rooms and no sprinklers. We had no curtains on our windows and so had to make do with using the spare blankets draped over the open windows. Luckily it was summer! Room was on the 3rd floor and no elevator so struggled with luggage up 6 flights of stairs. Can’t remember if this was mentioned in the Okatex description. We did not mention any of this to the hotel staff whilst there as communicating was hit and miss.

It was affordable in zagan for a night for a trip stalag luft 3

There was next to no lighting on an awful path to the hotel.

Only a short walk into town Comfortable room and helpful staff

Was a long walk to the station so ac cab is preferable

The breakfast was good. A lot of choices and some options were different between the 2 days we ate there, so that was nice. The staff was very accommodating and we appreciated everyone.

The place does need upgrading but it is a large building and that would be expensive.
