Host was great and room was good value. He organised a canoe tour. I also did a houseboat and the canoe tour was far superior. Far cheaper at rs.1000 (including food). Canoe can fit down the smaller canals so you can quietly and respectfully observe the village life. Our group of 3 boats were the only people in the water. A truly immersive experience which is a much less crowded experience for tourists.. Houseboat felt like a heavily commercialised novelty

Jibu is the best host you could wish for. He was so accommodating with everything and a lovely person to talk with. The hostel is really cute and in a great location to get around. Jibu helped me to arrange a day trip on the backwaters, which I really enjoyed. The room cost was very affordable and I had a balcony to relax. I would highly recommend this to all travellers. Thanks so much Jibu.

Jibu was super helpful and friendly, great communication and very accommodating. Even though we arrived a bit late he still waited and helped organise a canal trip for the next morning. Fully recommend staying here!

The staff member pushed hard to sell me a tour package and ignored pretty much everything else to hustle this day trip. He neglected to even tell me about the massive carnival going on.

Jibu is a very kind and professional person. His Abru’s Holiday is a good spot, between the beach and the backwater side of Alleppey. Very good advices and helpful to organize our trip of 2 days in Alleppey (Kayaking and silent paddle boat trip and good time chilling).

The owner's hospitality exceeded my expectations, and his helpfulness throughout my stay made it truly memorable. The accommodation was comfortable, the amenities were top-notch, and the overall experience was fantastic.

Jibu was a fantastic host he made sure we had everything we needed for our stay and booked our backwater trip for us and gave us good restaurant recommendations. The room was spacious and stayed surprisingly cool despite only using a fan. The location is good half way between the beach and city. Very good value for money for Allepey.

The property definitely needs more cleaning, there was a lot of dust around the windows and outside the property there is a lot of litter from previous guests. The mat outside the bathroom was full of dirt and sand so we couldn’t use it.

I had a very nice stay here. Jibu is very friendly and gave me tips about where to go in the area. The room was big and comfortable with a terrace.
