Large comfortable room with a balcony overlooking the garden - perfect for the budget traveller. Great value for money. What we like most was : 1. Location The guesthouse is located at Dutch Square between the beach (10 min walk)and the town centre (20 min walk) and just a quick 10 min walk to the delicious & iconic Jas Hotel restaurant. Tuk tuk rides to most areas are no more than 100 rupees. 2 Our host Jibu is a very attentive professional host. From the moment we made our booking he was there to help in anyway. From guiding us with transport, booking very affordable boat trips, restaurant suggestions, sightseeing suggestions and checking we arrived at our next destination safely. Nothing was too much for him. The canoe trip he organised for us was truly wonderful and we would recommend it to everyone. Jibu made our stay in Allepey memorable. Thankyou again Jibu.

The owner is super nice and organised the backwater tour for us. He was being very responsive and flexible about late check in as well. Also gave lots of recommendations for local restaurants etc. We had a good experience here.

It wouldn't hurt to clean the place a bit

Jibu is extremely helpful. He is always willing to give you tips on what to see and don in allepey. Great stay in a more than a decent room. Unbeatable value for money.

If you are in Allepey then Abru’s is the place to stay. Well-appointed, comfortable rooms in a great location. Jibu, the host, is unbelievably friendly and will look after you very well, providing anything that you may need. He may even show you around the villages or to some secret spots, if you are lucky! Without a doubt the loveliest host I have had in India!

The room was very spacious with a large bed. It was overall comfortable and conveniently located near the beach and about 20 minutes walk to the town centre. The host was lovely and present to answer any query, supporting to arrange tours and recommending places to visit, restaurants etc.

AMAZING STAY! Right from the moment we checked in when we didn’t have change for the Tuk Tuk and Jibu leant us money to pay. The room was great, nice shower, good bed and lots of space and seating area on the balcony area. Great recommendations from Jibu for places to eat and visit etc. Also a complimentary massage which was a lovely touch! Jibu was in contact with us to check our stay was going well and we had everything we needed. Great location not far from beach and near restaurants and 20 mins walking to the centre of the town if you need to go there. Would highly recommend staying here!

We left a glasses case, but Jibu offered to bring it to Kochi for us when he comes here. Such a nice man.

The host was lovely and so helpful. He organised us a backwater trip as soon as we arrived and it was perfect. Towels were provided and the hot water was good. It really is good value for money, for the price we paid we were very happy with our stay.

The room wasn't the cleanest and everything was a little bit run down and old.

quiet central to town nice environment

Jibu made the stay at his guest house completely relaxing and was there for any matter I needed. He recommended me places to eat and things to do. Thanks to him I got to know the local side of Alleppey. I definitely recommend staying with him. The location is nice, the rooms itself very clean and spacious.
