The building suffers from humidity, in the room there was heavy mold smell that the first day was covered by huge amount of chemical perfumes, so in total it was even worth. After strong aeration (that was possible because it was not very cold), it became acceptable to be inside. There were no infiltration traces, only some apparent humidity traces on the ground floor (I was on the 3rd), so it should be rising damp, because the building is located very low above the river level, and with some rains, level of ground waters goes up, letting more humidity into the building. This problem is very hard to solve, but if all the furniture would be of plastic or metal it would at least reduce the smell. Especially inside this old wood wardrobe the smell was the strongest. There was no fridge even in the common space.

Great location! Lots of restaurants and coffee shops near by.

No elevator, but we were fine with the stairs. Facilities are dated, but clean.

Great location near the center. Friendly staff.

The central location and access to the city. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. Hallways were clean and marble stairs! No sounds from inside the hotel or other rooms.

The air in the room was stale upon arrival and with the open windows the smell from the cigarette smokers on the street was annoying. The toilet needed help to flush any solids and last two days no cleaning other than trash removal. The rot at the bottom of the bathroom door that wouldn’t close was distracting.
