Very noisy and loud, poor standards (not as the photos depicted) and very hard mattress.

Struttura comoda ed accogliente. Molto comoda alla stazione ed al centro di Bologna. Propone anche la colazione, semplice ma buona. Nel complesso ci siamo trovati bene e, se capita ci torneremo

TV non funzionante. Qualche imprecisione nelle pulizie. Forse per colpa nostra, ma non siamo riusciti ad abbassare le tapparelle delle finestre

Ho prenotato per mio marito che per motivi di lavoro ha dovuto soggiornato a Bologna. Durante la notte (alle due di notte) ho ricevuto una telefonta da parte dell'Host che mi chiede se posso aprire ai vicini che sono rimasti fuori, pensando che, essendo che l'ospite, mio marito, aveva una voce giovane, poteva essere in giro. Dunque la signora mi scrive e mi chiama per aprire ai suoi ospiti, svegliandomi nel cuore notte. Anche se mio marito fosse stato un giovane e fosse stato in giro a far baldoria, la richiesta era di tornare ad aprire ai suoi ospiti. Ripeto, follia pura. Alle due notte. Una proposta assurda, poco professionale e anche inquietante. Fortuna che mio marito aveva il telefono staccato perchè si doveva svegliare alle 5. La signora si è scusata educatamente ma non è possibile questo atteggiamento.

La posizione

La testiera del letto era rovinata, sporcizia per terra, lo scarico rumoroso come pochi, il materasso talmente duro che sembrava inesistente, la serranda del balcone era rotta e sorretta da un tavolino da giardino (Non siamo stati avvisati di quest'ultimo problema). Abbiamo fatto richiesta di reso, almeno in parte, ma ci è stato rifiutato dalla struttura. Non mi aspettavo di certo una camera di lusso, ma almeno una stanza confortevole.

Camera spaziosa e pulita, per due notti (con un concerto di mezzo) è risultata ben ubicata e comoda, vicina al centro, zona ben illuminata e ci è sembrata molto tranquilla. Host disponibile e gentile, ci ha anche consigliato come muoverci o spostarci. Ottima distribuzione degli spazi, dentro la camera si stava davvero bene a livello di temperatura nonostante fuori ci fosse freddo, è presente anche un mini frigo. Graditissima la colazione inclusa nel bar accanto, molto gentile e professionale il personale, ottima esperienza: lo consiglierei e tornerei volentieri.

La nostra camera aveva un'apertura per affacciarsi al balcone (non incluso, però, nella nostra prenotazione, di conseguenza non è mai stato aperto). Il suddetto balcone era in condivisione con un'altra camera in cui c'erano altre persone che, stando nel balcone, potevano benissimo affacciarsi alla nostra camera (dato che la tapparella non si chiudeva fino in fondo e si vedeva dentro la nostra camera). Abbiamo raggirato il problema incastrando una tenda nell'infisso del balcone, coprendolo del tutto e stando più tranquille. Non è stato chissà che problema, ma di questi tempi credo sia meglio pensare in anticipo a delle coperture o tende adeguate che possano far sentire al sicuro e che garantiscano privacy. In secondo luogo non ho molto apprezzato l'aumento della tassa di soggiorno, su booking dava 5€ a persona a notte (totale 30€), alla fine sono stati chiesti 9€ in più. Per carità, non è che sia una somma esagerata ma avremmo apprezzato una spiegazione o maggiore trasparenza a riguardo.

The location was perfect - a short walk to the centre. We chose this as a balance between cost and location, and feel like what we paid was reasonable for the area. To me, the best thing was the breakfast. They gave you a voucher for the Cafe Marconi next door, for a hot drink and a croissant. These were delicious, the staff at the cafe were incredibly friendly and welcoming and the croissants amazing!

We booked a room with a balcony. When we arrived, we were told there was a problem with this room and we were 'upgraded' to a bigger room. This was in a separate apartment block about 10 minutes walk away. The 'upgraded' room was certainly not an upgrade, having a rather depressing look about it, tired furniture and decoration, low light, no balcony. It was also in an apartment with other room and a shared bathroom. We had to be very assertive to understand why the room we booked wasn't available. They said it was a problem with a bathroom, but when we argued against the new room, they backed down and said no problem, we could take the room we booked and there was no problem at all with it. When we arrived in the room (the one we booked, with the balcony) the location was much better and the balcony was very nice, it was exactly what we wanted - and why we booked it in the first place! The only issue was a smell of drains from the bathroom, I think others have mentioned this in the review. Actually, whilst not ideal, this didn't bother us so much, so we were glad we had argued back and stood our ground.

The location of the apartment is amazing - you can get everywhere by foot, the city center is 10-15min away, the main bus station as well. It’s clean and comfortable, very nice
