The beach towns have guest houses galore to choose from. This one was a real pleasure. Sleep after too much time on airplanes, leaves, the house cats and a lizard the size of the cat strolled by. Local version egg lbreakfast, requested ahead and received a room with no stairs, clothing vendor, seafood burrito at the nearby restaurant, tuktuk to the Matara bus station (bus left 1/2 hour early, at 1:30 istead of 2PM), cheerful, helpful people, safe place, bottled water for sale, soundtrack: two college age guests whistling the theme to an old TV show.

Can't say there was anything I didn't like.

Nothing everything was great

Nice space with kitchen for everyone to use. Beautiful green surrounding, on a quiet small lane.

Nothing was nice not even location is over crowded area. My bedding was dirty & smelled of dog wee. Mosquito net loads of holes. The fan was above mosquito net so you don’t feel the fan. It’s a sweat box room. There was ants all in the sink in bathroom. My door was where everyone’s Tuktuk & scooters are parked. Early morning & late night bad noise, it was unbearable as I got no decent sleep, I tried to change the 3x nights to just 1 & they wouldn’t except with good enough cause. Staff unhelpful with changing dates or rooms.
