Excellent host and wonderful breakfast! Very friendly, welcoming and honest host. Would definitely recommend when staying in Mirissa. Good contact to whale watching firms.

Madu and his family were exceptional hosts. Madu was friendly, very helpful and had excellent contacts for tours, drivers for remaining legs of our holiday, etc. Manu went out of his way to ensure a perfect stay. Breakfast each day was wonderful and plentiful. The beach, restaurants etc were all very close by. Very good value for money!

It was the best experience in Sri Lanka. Clean room with all you need. The owner (Madu) and his family like a present from life). He was ready to help you all time. A plus, that he has a tuk-tuk and gave me the best prices on it. You can order super breakfast for the best price and his mother and wife will cook it with love😌 For my opinion very cool location! It’s one step to the ocean and bus station, but it is in silence. I don’t know how it works, but you can be confident you will have good sleep here. Oh! And of course, badora spa opposite your door. What can be better ? I wish Madu and his family many good guests and all the best!

I liked everything very much. Good location and clean neat room with everything you need. Very hospitable owner and his family. Helped me with renting a bike at the best price, and also found comfortable accommodation for my parents and friends. There is a massage parlor nearby. It's a couple of minutes to the beach, across the road you can buy good fresh fruit. There are also many local cafes around.

Loved bisandu guesthouse. Clean, fresh, fridge, lights and plugs by bed, good air con, lovely cotton sheets, big comfy bed, hot water. Little area to sit outside. Nice breakfast especially the Sri Lankan version. Lots of fresh fruit. Minutes from the beach but far enough to be away from the noise. The area is like a little community with other good family guesthouses around, laundry services and Yummys restaurant which had delicious reasonable priced food. The family and host Madu were brilliant. Madu Helped us with advice, trips and even taxi to next place at the best prices. very trustworthy and reliable, would help with anything you need. Would definitely recommend.

Only that we would have stayed more nights but it was booked up. However Madu helped us to find a new place at his uncle's up the road at a great price.

The host Madu is really nice, he helped us with everything, he was fair and flexible, also an absolute sweetheart! The room was spacious, comfortable and clean, the bed is big and comfy. Breakfast was delicious! Location is good, it’s near the beach.Really good value for the money, would definitely recommend!

The accommodation was clean, the bathroom was nice, the bed was big, too. It has air conditioning and a refrigerator. The breakfast was delicious, especially local fruit. In the morning you can see monkeys. The beach is about 150 meters away. The host is great, he will take you by tuk-tuk and help you with excursions. I have nothing I didn't like. I will definitely come back here again.

Wonderful homestay for many reasons; 100m walk to Mirissa beach, easy check in and communication with host, friendly host who recommended activities to do during our stay, tasty breakfast made for a time of our choice, clean large room, good value for money, warm shower and comfortable bed.

High rating of this apartment on Booking exactly correspond with reality.The owner is very nice young guy who really takes care of his guests. The room is properly clean,there is lots of space for the luggage, bathroom is big and water pressure is good as well.. On top of it the location is excellent-it is just 100m from the bus stop,few steps from the beach and from many restaurants, but at the same time it is very quiet,you cannot hear any noise from the main road. The breakfast is big and delicious with a lot of fresh fruit (really a lot!).If we return to Mirissa,we would book this apartment for sure again.I recommend it to everybody.

Brilliant location with a lovely, clean and large room with great amenities: air con, hot water, fridge and more. Madu is a brilliant host, with great recommendation and a lovely breakfast each morning. 10/10.
