Bisandu guesthouse

Bisandu Guesthouse is a perfect location for your stay in Mirissa! From the moment we arrived, the host, Madu, welcomed us and made us feel at home. The room is perfect and has all the amenities you need, from a nice big bed with air conditioning to a little desk if you need to work and a large bathroom. The breakfast is freshly cooked every morning and is delicious. Definitely a big add to the stay ;-) Madu is a great host, he even brought us to Weligama for a surfing lesson in the morning, gave us lots of tips on what to do in the area (and where), and arranged a driver for us to go from Mirissa to Colombo (with a stop in Galle). 100% recommend staying here!

For our liking, the beds were a bit hard, but we are picky haha. Wifi could be spotty at times, but overall worked great. Other than that: the stay was fantastic.

Everything was perfect, nice room and well located. Madu is so nice and he even drove us to Galle. I highly recommend.

Great location close to the beach, clean, and well-equipped. Delicious and big breakfasts were prepared by a very kind and friendly owner who took great care of our comfort and recommended a surfing school that turned out to be perfect.

Very nice and helpful host. Madu was very responsive. The breakfast was very good. Location is really good and a bit off the main tourist area. You can walk everywhere. Madu was very helpful and drove us to the bus terminal and ensured that we would take the right bus.

Bed was a bit hard.

Very kind family. They always helped us in everything we needed, including in the last night we had to go very early in the morning to yala park and they prepared us a very good breakfast to go! They really care about their hosts! The location is perfect too. Highly recommend!

Bisandu is a lovely guesthouse. The room was very clean and comfortable. I work online, and my room had its own internet modem with very good signal strength, so I was able to work easily. The owner is very friendly and extremely accommodating. The local Sri Lankan breakfasts are prepared by his mother, and they are delicious and very filling. It's right across the road from Turtle Beach, which is great for swimming. Mirissa Beach is 5 minutes away, with lots of good restaurants and bars on the beach.

This room was one of the nicest places im which we stayed during our trip in Sri Lanka! It was very clean, everything worked properly (A/C, fan, shower...), and the bed was very comfortable. Madu was a great host, he is very kind and always happy to help. He has a tuktuk and he dropped us at Weligama (for a surf lesson, which was a lot of fun!) and he also took us to the bus station in Matara on our last day. The breakfast was also delicious!
