The Lighthouse Negombo

Piscina stupenda, pulita. Vista mare, con un tramonto bellissimo. La camera grande con una bella vista e delle grandi vetrate. Stanza molto luminosa e lenzuola e servizi igienici puliti. Letto comodo.Colazione discreta. I ragazzi che erano presenti in reception molto disponibili.

Esperienza pessima e assolutamente non in linea con quanto promesso. Abbiamo pagato 73€ per una stanza che doveva avere balcone e vasca idromassaggio, aria condizionata funzionante e comfort superiori, ma nulla di tutto questo è stato rispettato. La camera non aveva balcone né finestre apribili, il condizionatore non raffreddava e l’aria era calda, pesante e con cattivo odore. L’acqua andava lentissima o non andava affatto: impossibile utilizzare la vasca idromassaggio, nonostante fosse uno dei motivi principali della scelta. Il pagamento con la carta anche se disponibile come da descrizione su booking non era funzionante, specifico che le stesse carte le abbiamousate senza problemi in molte altre strutture durante il viaggio. Nessuna soluzione proposta, nessuna compensazione, nessun reale tentativo di rimediare. Il personale è stato gentile nei modi, ma completamente inefficace. Prezzo altissimo rispetto alla qualità offerta: abbiamo dormito in alloggi molto più economici e infinitamente migliori. .

Perfect Place to Relax After a Long Flight We stayed at The Lighthouse Negomb for one night after our flight and had an absolutely wonderful stay. The balcony view is breathtaking — you could sit there all day, and the sunset is truly to die for. A special thank you to Richard, the hotel manager, and his fantastic team. Richard genuinely cares about his guests, is always reachable, and responds immediately if you need anything. We were saddened by some negative reviews. Please remember that a hotel is someone’s livelihood. If you are very sensitive to small details or expect a strict five-star standard, maybe traveling is not for you. We would definitely recommend this hotel for a peaceful start or end to your journey.

There were a few minor issues (the bathroom blind was broken, the balcony door didn’t close properly, and there were some moisture stains on the bathroom ceiling), but none of this bothered us or affected our stay and I'm pretty sure they would have fixed it if we asked but we didn't).

Very clean tidy place with comfortable stay. Further, it is consists with very rich equipment and high standard facilities. Specially it is required to highlight n friendly staff there, including Mr. Ranjith who was senior steward there.
