Babush Ocean Star

The room was basic and could do with a bit of touching up, but it was clean , with Wifi and hot water. There was also a veranda to sit out on and a line to dry out towels etc. The location is excellent , it's very close to the beach but without the noise of the bars and restaurants. The owner Ainsley and houseboy Jush? were very helpful too.

No breakfast on site. Having said that , café Nikos which is on the beach and directly behind the accommodation had a really good American Breakfast for 380 rupees. A small shelf in the bathroom would have been usefu.l

Zero conveniences. No towel rack or hooks to hang things, Only 1 electrical socket Super basic shower room This rough gem can be made so much better with a little love and effort.

Cleanliness, customer service, a towel would be nice, toilet roll, soap ??? Hot water, a bin ?? Could not find the place ! No signs and no sign on the building, no reception area, terrible. The staff did not care when we arrived, ignored us completely then just said room over here. No towels just blankets. No soap to wash your hands with, no bin ?!? The room has no A/C, no hot water, did not give us the wifi code. Cleanliness was at zero. We only booked to store out bag for a few hrs and get a shower as was the cheapest available close to the beach, so glad we were not staying over night.
