Seal Cottage

Cozy cottage, in a quiet location. Big window for watching the sunset. Hosts left out some treats for the evening and made some toast and cereal in the morning.

Wifi speed was unusable when we checked in, and cell data was also very slow. (The wifi speed had improved by the morning). The bed was a touch short and narrow for 2 people.

Die Insel Skye kann man vom Ferienhaus aus sehr gut erschließen.

Mökistä löytyy kaikki tarvittava (tosin mikroaaltouunia hieman kaipasimme). Upea näköala ikkunasta. Tervetuliaiskori aamiaostuotteineen olivat mukava lisä. Pihapiirissä kaksi pientä koiraa ja kissa tulivat tervehtimään :)

Our experience at Seal Cottage was totally excellent. The cottage is cosy and very comfortable. The living/bedroom was comfortable to sit in and look out of the large window at the truly wonderful view across the Loch. The bed was very comfortable and we both slept well. The bathroom has an excellent shower, a large sink and was clean and fresh. The kitchen has an electric two plate hob which was fine for cooking evening meals. Pots and pans, plates etc were supplied for two people. There is a toaster, coffee maker and kettle. All in working order with plentiful supplies of tea, coffee and sugar. On arrival we found a well stocked hamper which was a pleasant suprise. The cottage is in a very picturesque setting and the owner told us that a brief walk takes you to a seal colony from which the cottage gets its name. The owners have supplied an introductory booklet which gives a wide selection of important information about places to visit, where to shop and important local services. There is WiFi available which worked as required. Parking places are available close by the cottage. We had no difficulty in finding the accommodation by following the instructions sent to us by the owners in an email.

We cannot come up with any criticism of the cottage at all!

Comfortable cottage with all the kitchen items we needed for 3 days. The welcome basket was a nice surprise. That provided us with coffee and breakfast on our first day even though we got in quite late. Beautiful view from the picture window allowed us to see spectacular sunsets. The hosts are lovely and very responsive to questions. We found their directions to the cottage to be perfect and made it easy for us to find.
