Seal Cottage

The view was amazing, the location was fantastic and it was very idyllic. The whole stay was very nice and I would definitely recommend it. The owner was also very nice and gave us suggestions what we could do during our stay on the Isle of Skye.

Nothing

We liked the view, the loving touches, the kind gestures, the cozy atmosphere, the cleanliness, the peace, the privacy, the great hospitality and the seals. The cottage is a little oasis.

Nothing. Everything was great.

The cabin itself was beyond charming. So cozy. The view was unmatched. Quiet and peaceful. But beyond all that, there were such thoughtful gestures like a welcome basket of snacks and the host’s sweet little dogs’ greeting when we arrived. Two gentle pups just saying hi. It was magical.

Neil was amazing and made sure we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Lovely little touches such as muffins and milk for our arrival. If you have never been to Skye then this is a great place to start. The hosts leave lots of information to help you navigate your way around Skye and are always on hand for tips on where to go. Would definitely recommend and would return :)

Super cute and cozy cottage. The owner was very nice and gave great recommendations, he also had an adorable puppy we got to meet. All of the personal touches were very appreciated. Clean, cozy, quiet. Spent mornings watching the waters through the window and nights falling asleep gazing at the brightest stars I’ve ever seen. Seal Cottage is a special place.

The path to the shore was tricky to find but I love that we had access to begin with. Backing out of the parking spots was tricky because it’s really tight. Those things aren’t really within the owner’s control though so I don’t count it against them!

It was a beautiful spot near the beach. The owner left cereal, milk, and other amenities for breakfast. There was also nice little touches from the owner in the cottage that made it feel homey. The bed was comfortable. Would stay here again.

Neal was particularly helpful with providing useful information regarding hiking in the area, and what sites where worth a visit. The facilities in the cabin allowed us to cook our meals, and enjoy the view of the bay through a large (and private) window.
