Perfect Hideout

The hosts were amazing! They helped us organise a safari and were great at communication. The room was fairly clean - though bags are needed in the garbage bins. The AC was welcomed during the heat wave. Breakfast was lovely!

The location was very hard to find - we went down several roads before finding it. Leaving the place early one morning we took a wrong turn walking and were quickly surrounded by barking dogs - we were extremely scared. Locals suggested that the dogs wouldn't harm us - but it ruined the walking experience for us for the rest of the week. That said the location was generally good - quiet from the loud streets of Dambulla.

Mattress a little too hard and a squeegee was missing in the bathroom

Comfy and clean, our host was very accommodating! When we arrived he drove us to multiple attractions and picked us up again. He also dropped us to the restaurant he recommended and organised for someone to drop us back. Very kind and friendly and helped us get the bus to Kandy the next day

Owner was very friendly and welcomed us with a banana lassi. Room was very clean and the nicest we stayed at in Sri Lanka! Super close to the cave temple - can walk there in 15 mins. Great bathroom, really comfortable bed, mirror, clothes stand. Everything we needed! Plus super cute dog, Ellie who i miss already.
