Perfect Hideout

The room and washroom were so clean and they prepared the room perfectly. Walkable distance to the main road to catch the bus. cheap and worthwhile place.

Perfect for our four nights on Dambulla, we used our stay as a base to travel round.and it was perfect! Tea on arrival and breakfast were delicious! Our host was very helpful in organising our excursions and was a godsend in arranging our train tickets between Kandy and Ella. Altogether a great place to stay!!

The overall price was really good (~4500 LKR with breakfast), the bedroom was nice and the host was taxing us around to the cave temple and back free of charge.

The bed was quite short for us (we are about 1.80m), but the host said they will replace it soon. The host tried to provide extra service (tour to Sigiriya,...), which was too pushy for us and quite expensive (3500 LKR, but we did not try to bargain it). We also were charged taxes additionally to the price (even though booking said it was included), so be careful to check that. Furthermore there were frogs in the bathroom, it did not bother us, but might others.

Indunil, the owner, was an amazing host. Friendly guy with nice energy and commitment to make your stay a perfect one. The place is so beautiful, with a nice garden and the rooms are big and comfortable (AC included). So far the best accommodation on my solo trip through Sri Lanka. Indunil prepared a full day of tourism through Sigiriya which was more than expected. Good value for money. A place to repeat.

The short stay.

Beautiful room in the green with a perfect sunset spot nearby. The host was very helpful! He come take us in the bus station and carried us to the principal attractions.

Very clean, modern, had all the amenities we needed and the bed was lovely! Wifi was really fast, ideal bathroom facilities and serene outdoor space. The property was a 10-15 min walk to the Dambulla cave temple and about a 10 minute drive to the main town area. The host was incredible, he went above and beyond for us! He organised an amazing safari tour, taxied us around for dinner and took us to an iconic sunset spot. Would 100% stay here again!!

It’s about a 40 min walk to the main town but you can easily get a tuk tuk for cheap.
