Santa Isabel Low Cost Rooms in private house

It is a small room with shared bathroom and kitchen in a very characterful block in an old part of the city. Left and right of it are historical churches, downstairs is a restaurant frequented by locals and across the street a bakery and supermarcado. Although finding your direction is tricky, it is within walking distance of all the touristy sites. Manager friendly and helpful; once you have the key access is easy.

Knowing how to operate the stove would have made life much easier. Its electrical chord was no-where to be seen.

Room was clean. Friendly host. Ideal location. Had a fan .

Everything! The location was great, the amenities were good, the room was spacious & the bed was very comfortable. Above all, the Host was extremely pleasant & personable.

As I am scared in "closed" rooms, I really missed the window. We could hear everything from other rooms as well. However, the owner is a very nice and helpful person and for one or two nights is the accomodation OK.
