Excellent comfortable room in newly refurbished/upgraded hotel rooms.Very good value for money.Great breakfast provided plus private car parking.

I liked nothing about the place from the point of walking over to the doorstep. When I reached the gate, I saw a message on an A4 sheet to walk to another place owned by them or to call a number. Person answering the call was rude, obnoxious and tone deaf.

Receptionist's attitude was appalling. Tone deaf, unacknowledging and wouldn't bother speaking to me so she sent others. Room was a converted cupboard space with a shower that is barely suitable for a toddler. Breakfast the next day was equally as bad with waffles from lidl or aldi, glasses left out but no juice or water in sight.

"Paid for big room in royal and was put in smaller room in diffrent hotel"

I did not book this hotel. I booked a 25m2 room in “the royal hotel”. I arrived and was note on door saying get key from “ the waverley inn”. I arrived to get key. They said room 18. I said i haven’t booked this hotel, i booked the royal hotel. Said some BS about family emergency. It was like a attitude of its this or nothing. I left after about 2 hours.
