Not as described no bathroom in my room as booked staff didn’t care

I liked nothing about the place from the point of walking over to the doorstep. When I reached the gate, I saw a message on an A4 sheet to walk to another place owned by them or to call a number. Person answering the call was rude, obnoxious and tone deaf.

Receptionist's attitude was appalling. Tone deaf, unacknowledging and wouldn't bother speaking to me so she sent others. Room was a converted cupboard space with a shower that is barely suitable for a toddler. Breakfast the next day was equally as bad with waffles from lidl or aldi, glasses left out but no juice or water in sight.

Shower very poor;room was clean(new carpets and furniture)looked a bit unfinished.had tv and tea/coffee …not much else

Shower was freezing.

I did not stay the night as room was disgusting someone had been eating a takeaway on the windowsill. Crumbs on floor round tea point. Empty bottles in foyer on floor and piece of metal meat that had obviously been taken in by dog.

Manager was very friendly and accommodating and tried hard to please guests as well as me. Despite challenges out of her control she remained calm and professional

Manager is working with what she has available, the buildings require significant investment in maintenance, with leaking roofs, botched fixtures and fittings, the manager is left dealing with issues which shouldn't be issues.

How this place is allowed to trade I do not know. Was so bad we could not actually stay in it. Revolting, unsafe, and a H&S risk should be condemned
