Villa Ma'Rasai

Away from the main town the property is nice and quiet. The hosts are incredibly friendly, speak good English and the restaurant at the accommodation is very very good.

A stylish villa with a stunning interior, a clean and spacious room with a balcony overlooking the sea, a large bathroom, and hot water. The bed is comfortable and high-quality, the air conditioning is effective and quiet, there is plenty of storage space, a work desk, pleasant lighting, and fast Wi-Fi. The wonderful owner runs the place with care, speaks English, and the entire staff is very friendly and helpful. Scooter rental and island or nearby island tours can be arranged. Excellent breakfast with a choice of options and great fresh juices. We highly recommend trying dinner as well — the local dishes from the menu are delicious, and the fish in sauce was always exceptional!

The pool was closed due to renovation of a nearby building. The villa is located outside the town, so using public transport, Grab, a scooter, or arranging a transfer is necessary. Situated right next to the university, the villa is close to prolonged prayer recitations and songs—bring earplugs if you’re sensitive to noise.

The greenery of forest and landscape around the villa. The interior designs tastefully reflects the rich cultural heritage and history of Ternate. The warm hospitality and accommodating of all the staff at all times. The authentic food. The peaceful ambient and surroundings.

The stairs are alright, however if you are with heavy scuba diving gear bags or luggages, a bit of a challenge to climb up to the third floor. Perhaps a goods lift would be helpful.

The location is in the hill. You will wake up with nice view of Tidore and Maitara. Nice vibes of the room as well. It is clean, comfortable and indonesian classy.

Fabulous view of volcano across the water from our room. Delicious varied food. We ate in for the 3 nights we were there. Charming host and staff. Very interesting artifacts used to decorate the common areas.
