Qaldea Resort

The staff I quite nice, even though only one would speak a bit of English the other don’t at all.

It’s a bad joke to call that place a resort. Those were one of the worst beds of my travels. The top bed was moving and shaking so hard with every little movement, so it was impossible to find proper sleep. Dinner and breakfast are outstandingly expensive. Never again.

Quiet and peaceful place. A very delicious dinner. Very nice hosts. The taste of history can be felt in the building.

Jardin agréable.

Although Khalde is a very small settlement pretty hard to reach, Qaldea Resort is surprisingly well-equipped and offers great services. After a long hike from Ushguli, the warm showers and the delicious food were all we needed before getting a good night's rest. The beds were a bit squeaky, but some earplugs can help with that. ;)

Everything was great! Our host was so welcoming and the space was set out so well. We had some delicious wine in the sun before sitting down to a full meal and then playing some backgammon which our host joined in on (and played very well!)

Amazing and beautiful location, much nicer than staying further on in Iprari as I think most people do. Beautiful old house, with great hammocks and grassy area, the breakfast and dinner were of great quality, and different to the usual fare of the rest of the guesthouses we stayed at. Dinner was 40 Lari pp and breakfast 30, this did feel slightly expensive but you are paying for the remoteness of the village and the 3 lovely hosts 😊

The beds were slightly uncomfortable, and it would he great to have more than 1 PowerPoint (the room and 6 beds 😂) however these are small this that could be improved, definitely recommend this stay!!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in traumhafter Lage. Wir sind hier eine Nacht während des Mestia-Ushguli-Trail abgestiegen, um am letzten Tag noch eine längere Etappe zu haben. Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich freundlich, wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Nach einem Wandertag kann man wunderbar im Garten ausspannen, mit herrlichem Blick über das Tal. Das Essen war das beste der gesamten Tour! Didi Madloba an den Koch.
