Mellow Hostel Sri Lanka

Had an exceptional stay at Mellow. With the people & the vibe there is it made me come back several times, stayed around for 2 months. There’s heaps of space so if you want to chill or work you can do it & if you want to socialise there’s always cool people around to do so. With two social hosts they organise a lot of activities you can always join. Also the cafe & the food is great. Location right in front of Kabalana beach, everything perfect!

This hostel has everything you need, right across from the beach, with a gorgeous cafe. The dorms were so nice, really modern and great AC! Would definitely reccomend

This was probably the nicest hostel I've ever stayed in. The design and the whole vibe was fantastic! There is also a coffee house that belongs to the hostel to get breakfast, lunch, coffee and sweet treats which is a great addition! And to get to the beach you only have to cross the street in front of the hostel.

I recently stayed at Mellow hotel kabalana, for five nights and wanted to share some feedback about my experience. While I appreciated the location and the efforts of your staff, I encountered a few challenges that impacted my stay, including inconsistent hot water in the shower, occasional water shortages, a lack of internet and cellular reception, prolonged power outages, and an issue with ants in the bathroom. I understand that unexpected difficulties can occur, and I’m sharing this feedback in the hope it will help improve the experience for future guests.
