Spacious and Serene Stay near Milton Keynes centre

Amazing host

The kitchen was big and spacious, there was one shower with a toilet and on toilet separately which weas convenient. The host sent a warm welcome with info but later ignored my complaint.

The host was helpful with check-in details, parking, and Wi-Fi information, which started the stay off well. However, the cleanliness and hygiene in the house were poor. Both fridges looked dirty and had strong, unpleasant odours, making it impossible to safely store food. No one seemed to be using them, likely because of the smell. I had to store my food in bin bags to avoid contamination, and I ended up eating out due to the state of the kitchen. The rubbish in the bins, which included takeaway packaging from other guests on different days, indicated that others were also avoiding the kitchen and eating out. The kitchen had dirty drawers with food residue, grimy cupboards, and there was minimal soap provided in the bathrooms (which had two toilets). I didn’t feel comfortable raising these issues during my stay, but after checking out, I reached out to Joel with evidence of the problems. Despite following up, I didn’t receive a reply for several days, and Booking.com had to step in for a partial refund. The never responded or apologized for the situation. The lack of any follow-up or apology made the experience even more frustrating. I wouldn’t recommend this property.

The house is well equipped and has a big kitchen. The bathroom is shared but it is in good condition. Everything was great, I recommend.

Maybe just the shower need some work and small desk in single room, otherwise everything is perfect.
