Great chill place, super clean, friendly peoples

Our stay was just amazing. The house is beautiful and clean and the people were just cooperative and helped us with everything. The bed is comfy and the rooms clean. You can use the kitchen and have a good choice of food for breakfast. There is a shopping mall nearby and the train station is just a five minute walk. You can easily reach the CBD within half an hour. We would recommend this place to everybody as it is just a peaceful and beautiful place to stay!

Location was only a few kilometres away from where the conference was, so that was really convenient because I didn't spend a lot of time stuck in traffic at each end of the day. Very pleasant welcome from the host. Excellent price - unlike motels or hotels I wasn't paying for facilities i wasn't going to use. Loved the garden.

Heavy rain on the morning I left. Because the gutter over the front porch was obviously blocked it overflowed and getting my bags to the car necessitated walking through what was effectively a water curtain several times because there was no other way to get to the car. This was the only negative part of my whole experience staying here.

- Bathtub: There was a bathtub I could use, which I really appreciated for sore muscles as I have a shower only at home. - Quiet: It was overall quiet and peaceful, which helped with getting the rest I needed. - Staff: Ms. Ani Jangchub Lhamo was very kind and helpful with some suggestions for further exploration down the Buddhist path. - Food: There were delicious choices for a donation based self-serve breakfast (yoghurt, fruit, cereal, milk, bread, cheese) plus tea, coffee and hot chocolate. There were some food items available for simple cooking and baking (flour, sugar, pasta, noodles, etc). - Meditation Gear: I requested use of a meditation cushion and mat, so that was set up in the room. There were candles, a lighter and incense also. - Heater: I didn't expect there to be a heater, so that was nice since it did get a little cold at night.

- Traffic noise: The room I stayed in (Tara) faced the busy intersection of New North Road and St Luke's Road, so on a Friday and Saturday night, there was some traffic noise (cars honking, loud radios, etc). Nothing some earplugs couldn't fix.
