Wij hebben een prachtig verblijf gehad hier! De gastheer was zeer vriendelijk en enorm behulpzaam, de kamer was netjes en het ontbijt was uitstekend. Wij zijn zelfs een nacht extra gebleven, omdat het we hier zo fijn hadden. We kregen ook vaak thee aangeboden en konden vanop het terras genieten van een mooi uitzicht. Ze hebben een grote kaart met bezienswaardigheden en wandelingen, wat het zeer makkelijk maakt om uitstappen te plannen. Het is 5min wandelen van het centrum en op 3min wandelen zit je midden in de theeplantages en kan je genieten van een prachtig uitzicht om de zonsopgang te bekijken. Verder werkt de wifi ook goed. Wij hebben enorm genoten van dit klein paradijs!

W stosunku do tego miejsca mam ambiwalentne odczucia. Cena pobytu jest zupełnie nieadekwatna do tego, co dostaje się na miejscu. Za podobną cenę spędzaliśmy noce w miejscach wyglądających o niebo lepiej. Na pewno dużym plusem jest lokalizacja - z tarasu domu świetnie widać miasto w dole i dalekie okolice. W pobliżu, na wzgórzu, jest plantacja herbaty, na którą można dojść w 15 minut. Stosunkowo łatwo i szybko dochodzi się do centrum Haputale - gdy zna się ścieżki i użyje toru kolejowego jako wygodnego skrótu. Niestety pozostałe cechy oceniam nisko - a nocowałem w wielu miejscach o różnym standardzie. Obiekt to typowy homestay, ze wszystkimi wadami i zaletami tej formy pobytu. Pokoje są małe i ciasne (zarezerwowaliśmy dwa), łóżka i inne sprzęty mocno podniszczone, ale największy dramat to łazienki. Najgorszy był brak ciepłej wody, a w zasadzie brak wody w ogóle, poza powolnym ciurkaniem. O porządnym prysznicu po całym dniu można zapomnieć. Ponieważ to homestay, uczestniczysz w życiu rodzinnym gospodarzy czy tego chcesz, czy nie. Nocne rozmowy trochę przeszkadzają, aczkolwiek zatyczki do uszu z pewnością pomogą. Śniadanie niby było w cenie, ale nie dostaliśmy go ani razu. Największy problem wystąpił z płatnością - trzeba samemu przypilnować, żeby zapłacić gospodarzowi! Założyłem, że opłatę z karty ściągnie Booking.com. Okazało się, że jednak nie - trzeba było rozliczyć się gotówką na miejscu, ale nikt się nie upomniał pomimo trzydniowego pobytu. Przez resztę pobytu trwała korespondencja z gospodarzem o sposobie zapłaty, bo nie było możliwości pobrania opłaty z karty. Gdybyśmy zorientowali się wcześniej, poszukalibyśmy nowego obiektu po pierwszej nocy.

Duuużo, a w zasadzie wszystko. Do poprawy jest standard pokojów, gruntowny remont łazienek, ciśnienie i temperaturę wody, sposób płatności...

Magnifique Guest House. La vue est incroyable ! Les gens sont d'une gentillesse incroyable, toujours prêts à vous donner de bons conseils. Nous avons pu faire Hortons plains, les Diyaluma Falls et le Lipton seat. Le petit déjeuner est succulent. Vous êtes à 15 minutes à pieds du centre ville (par le raccourci que le Monsieur vous indiquera!).

A part peut être les douches qui ne sont pas très chaudes et peu de pression , tout était parfait !

Wir haben eine sehr sehr freundliche Familie kennen lernen dürfen, die uns herzlich aufgenommen hat. Das Frühstück war liebevoll gestaltet, sehr lecker und der Ausblick in das Tal ist einzigartig. Die Familie hat sich um all unsere Wünsche gekümmert, hat uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite gestanden, jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Wir sind sehr glücklich, diese Familie und damit diesen Teil von Sri Lanka kennen gelernt zu haben.

Das Badezimmer, wie in anderen Bewertungen ebenfalls angesprochen, ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Aber hierbei muss man auch wirklich günstigen Preis berücksichtigen.

Herzlicher Empfang mit Tee und Kuchen, tolle Terrasse mit wunderbarer Aussicht, feines Frühstück, zu Fuss in rund 10min in der Stadt, kostenloser Pickup vom Bahnhof, etwas älteres Bad mit Warmwasser. Beim Host liegt eine grosse Übersichtskarte mit diversen Ausflugszielen auf.

Mornings greet you with a delicious homemade breakfast and the magic of a panoramic mountain view from the spacious terrace. It's a moment to breathe, reflect, and simply enjoy the beauty around you. The rooms are simple, clean, and cozy, with everything you need — including warm blankets for the chilly evenings. The house is tucked away in quiet surroundings, yet still close to the town center and perfect for exploring nearby nature spots. The hosts also offer a welcome tea and helped me with a smooth transfer to the house — a lovely touch that made the arrival even more pleasant. Highly recommended if you're looking for serenity, genuine hospitality, and a deeper connection with the Sri Lankan highlands 🌄

La gentillesse et la disponibilité des hôtes, la vue, l'emplacement proche de la petite ville d' Haputale, les bons repas.

Chambre rustique et humide, en lien avec la météo mais cette guest house est un bon rapport qualité prix. Le prix est en corrélation avec l'état de la chambre et des sanitaires. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour malgré tout.
