Farah Guest Inn

The host family were very friendly and helpful and made me feel very welcome. They arranged a free tuktuk ride from the train station to the guesthouse. The room was simple but comfortable, and the view from the terrace over the mountains of Haputale is stunning. There's a walk you can do up into the hills close by.

The wifi signal doesn't really work in the bedroom, but it works fine on the roof terrace. It would have been good to have more bedsheets.

We had a really nice stay at this guesthouse. The owner was absolutely lovely and help us with many things. We had a really good dinner here and also got breakfast bags as we were hiking early in the morning.

The young couple running the business were friendly, helpful and straight forward to deal with. The accommodation served my needs perfectly as a short stag location to do some bird watching in the local primary forest reserves. Easy access to town for food, drink and onward transport.

Amazing view and a very nice host !

This place is a very nice, quite,nature friendly place, the owner and the staff are very friendly,me and my family had a lovely time as this location is very near to the town as well. The misty experience is awesome.if you want a relaxed time to spend off the busy life style this is a very budget friendly, value for money, super place.

Quiet, great views from balcony, short walk to town

Superb place to stay + The location here is fantastic it just out of the town a small walk away. The views from here a amazing. The room are spacious and comfortable. Shafni are host was brilliant he was so helpful on local knowledge places to eat and things do and see. I wouldn't meet a better family.

We had a great experience at Farah Guest Inn, we planned for a days stay and ended up staying for 2 days . The climate and the view from the balcony was incredible ,it was so quiet and peaceful .we enjoyed every minute of the stay here . We had the best dishes here ,the srilankan rice and curry (chicken, potato ,dhal ,salads ,beans and many other items ) were mouth-watering , they had awesome welcome tea with some hot hot cakes too The staff here were very friendly, and they almost planned all our trips to Diyaluma falls ,Bambarakanda falls ,Lipton Seat ,Dambetenna tea factory and Adishham bungalow. The rooms are very clean and spacious too , Thank you Farah Guest Inn for making our stay extra special .I would recommend this place to anyone who would like to spend a wonderful holiday
