What’s it to like. This is our third stay & our preferred hotel, it’s just lovely. Location, parking, heritage, cleanliness & comfort all rolled into one.

Only slight downside is parking as there are no designated bays. So as long as other patrons have parked with others in mind, no issues. However on our last visit the parking was much better & we were asked to park in a certain area.

Location was fantastic. Communication from the hotel was faultless anf very informative. Was greeted on arrival by a very friendly lady who was very helpful with the information. Rooms were perfect and very comfortable. I didnt have the best sleep but that's because I wasn't in my own bed and is not reflective of the room or the bed. Nice touches like the fan juice etc. The views outside are spectacular

Great location, easy to park. The welcome was lovely. A delightful building, very well converted.

hardly any sleep due to a constant noise which seemed to emanate from the roof space. It sounded like a fan bearing which was on the point of seizing up. I would suggest the owners sleep in the room one evening and experience the noise. Also, my wife had a bruised leg where she kept catching it on the brass window winder. If these two issues could be resolved, it would be a perfect place to stay.it
