Andrássy Chic Apartment

The room is spacious and cosy. Both room and common area were clean and comfortable. Location is excellent! Everything is close at hand and most attractions are in the walking distance from the apartment

There was unpleasant smell from the drains in bathroom, but it was bearable

The flat is spacious, comfortable, well-lit, in a refurbished historical palace, central to all tourist areas even on foot. The Opera is just down the road. The open space kitchen/living room area is very large and well furnished. The bed is comfortable. The ensuite bathroom is convenient. The place very quiet. at any hour (it's in an indoor block). The encased wardrobe super. Our contact was super gentle.

Details make comfort complete and they were missing: first, on our arrival, a huge mountain of linen was lying in the entrance/living room; then, I informed the manager of things we experienced while staying: bedroom doorframe broken; curtains in the room were partly hanging loose, a lightbulb in the bedside lamps is not there, the light in the encased wardrobe doesn't work, bathroom doorsill detached (I almost fell); toilet seat unstable, shower curtain has seen better times, we only had one face towel and not two (but two shower towels). As soon as I informed, I was told there would have been no charges, but nobody showed up to solve things, not even just providing a towel... because he was busy... So, kind, but not present, unluckily. Which partly explains the price, very very competitive considering the WONDERFUL location and palace and the distance and facilities provided. I just do hope they are going to fix everything because the flat is somewhat wondersome, I simply believe they are new to this kind of business. Beautiful stay and experience, all in all, which I recommend.

Great location, cute elephant towels, beautiful wooden floor, high ceiling, I liked the brown colours. Helpful messages on WhatsApp.

Check-in was confusing. I was a bit early but it seemed that checking-in early was okay. They told me that cleaning would take 30 minutes but it took almost 1,5 hours. But I accidentally (I was curious what the room looked like lol) looked into a not cleaned room and it was really dirty. So I understand why it took longer.

Location

Having no toilet roll or soap in the room. Having to repeatedly chase the ignorant host for over a day to provide toilet roll. Woke up covered in bug bites every morning. I've made an official complaint to booking.com as the host lied to me, harrassed me, threatened me and all in all ruined my entire experience. He insulted me calling me various horrible names all because I expected toilet roll in my room - have never experienced worse service in my life. Have stayed in £6 a night hostels in 3rd world countries with better facilities and better staff. Would not want anyone to go through what I went though with this despicable man. AVOID

Location was great, near the Opera and very close to metro station. The personal was very nice. Price/quality = good. Posiible to come back if we are tight on the budget.

A little dirty, the sheets had a few pieces of hair (of unknown origin), so i ask for them to be changed and they did that in less than 1 hour.

I loved the flat in the city center.. Close to everything Easy to reach and Great communication with the Host. Host polite and helpuful

No shower gel NO rug for the shower Bit noisy in the morning because of the bins, as the flat is on top of a cafe.

nice kitchen and common room, excellent for those who want to eat at home. Have laundry (tho we didnt use)

it is a little bit noisy in the morning because downstairs there is a restaurant or whatever (idk what it is) delivering materials, the room does not have a superb sound insulation. The quilt is a little old, even if it's clean it's indeed not new.

Excellent location, just across the Hungarian State Opera. Heroes Square is 30min walk, 20min to Vaci street. Bed was really comfortable and we had good night sleep. Room is really warm. And hosts were very helpful with letting as to leave our luggage in common room for couple of hours while we were waiting our transportation. Excellent accommodation for this price. Highly recommend.
