Sethun House

This had more of a home stay feel, with the guest house run by a really delightful family, who were always so obliging. It was clean, tidy and my room had a fridge and aircon. There’s also a shared balcony for breakfast overlooking some trees with lots of birds around. It’s only 5 mins walk from the west end of Marissa beach, if you cut through the restaurants that line the beach, and a 15-20 mins walk to the not so secret Secret beach. Also catch the local bus all the way along the coast to Galle and beyond, just at the end of the street.

We liked it because it's away from the noisy roads with unbalanced tu-tacks and crazy-bus. There are no noisy parties or loud music nearby. Quiet, peaceful, close to the beach. There is a road leading to the beach, it is quite quiet. We were glad a thousand times that we took this particular option, and not those options that are closer to the beach, but through this terrible noisy Main Street. Delicious and varied breakfasts on the balcony, the kindest hosts. The rooms are clean, cleaning every three days, change of bed linen. Air conditioning, ceiling fan, refrigerator, water heater, kettle are working, the bathroom is clean and in good condition. There is free wi-fi. Это хорошее сочетание цена/качество. Тихо, умиротворенно, рядом с пляжем. К пляжу ведет дорога, там довольно тихо. Мы были тысячу раз рады, что выбрали именно этот вариант, а не те варианты, которые находятся ближе к пляжу, но через эту ужасную шумную главную улицу. Вкусные и разнообразные завтраки на балконе, добрейшие хозяева. В номерах чисто, уборка каждые три дня, смена постельного белья. Кондиционер, потолочный вентилятор, холодильник, водонагреватель, чайник работают, ванная комната чистая и в хорошем состоянии. Есть бесплатный Wi-Fi.

Пару раз рано утром нас будили звуки стройки из соседнего дома.

Hostitelia boli veľmi milì a nápomocnì. Raňajky boli chutnè a sýte. Všetko bolo v poriadku.
