Lanta Happy House

It was a quiet place, a little away from the city. You can rent scooter from the owner for 150 bhat per day. Owner is very friendly, makes things comfortable for us. You can book for tours from the hotel as well. Place is at walkable distance from seven 11, weed shops, beautiful beaches. It was a dream vacation for us

Lovely owner, very clean, free water, and loads of tranquility as it is a short walk away from the main road.

We loved our stay here and would definitely come back if we are ever lucky enough to visit Koh Lanta again. The little house felt like our little haven - surrounded by plants, hammocks and sounds of nature. The host was sooooo lovely and friendly, he really made us feel at home and able to ask for help. We were able to rent a bike from him and were able to do our laundry, which was amazing. The location is great as it is only a 10min walk from the Beautiful Beach.

The owner was very nice and helpful. We could rent motorbikes through the hostel and we got great recommendations where to visit on the island. It was a very happy and relaxed atmosphere which we really enjoyed.

They are incredibly nice! There's laundry service, motorbike rental and you can also book buses and tours with the best prices. The place is big, beautiful and quite. Highly recommended!

The owner was a lovely man who took the time to patiently teach us how to use a motorbike before renting it to us. The room and bathroom were spacious. Facilities could use a refresh eg; very old looking toaster and hairdryer in the room. Location is quite far from shops/restaurants and beach so a motorbike is a must.

Quiet, clean, A/C, hammock, table and chairs out side, hot shower. In the middle of the island with 7-11 just down the road and beach just beyond that. Restaurants just down the street that serve Thai and western food at good price. Can use as home base to explore island on motorbike or you have everything you need nearby if not. The owner has a kindness about him that really makes the stay. Rented a motorbike from him at a great price from my research and his wife even did my laundry (also at a great price). For what this property offers at the price, it’s the best quality stay I’ve had in Asia so far. The owner also helped me out with many things and was almost always at the property if something came up. Side note: if you hear children playing behind the resort (not loud or anything- just off in the distance) that’s because they are! If you trek off up the creek a little you’ll find a miniature waterfall and swimming hole- had a wonderful experience with the local children:)

The hosts were amazing and made our stay a memorable one.
