Everything was great! The host was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was very good as well. There are plenty of things to do in Saschiz (visit the church, go on a hike, go to different hotspots etc) and around Saschiz, making this accommodation a very good location for visiting the fortified churches around (Viscri is a must), for visiting Sighisoara as well, and for hiking, biking, food tasting.

Fantastic location in an old farmhouse. Perfectly and of high comfort renovated rooms. Tasteful old furniture giving an authentic touch to the rooms; nothing is fake. Very clean rooms, breakfast kitchen, bathrooms. Very kind and heartfelt hosts.

Hidden gem  to get away from the city. Great location for trekking, bicycle rides, motorcycle rides and sightseeing. This is one of the villages along the path of via Transilvanica. We can't wait to return. The house exceeded our expectations in every way. Extremely Clean! Excellent Breakfast!

I recently had the privilege of staying at the traditional Saxon house in Saschiz, Romania, and I cannot stop raving about my incredible experience! From the moment I arrived, I was transported back in time to a world of history, culture, and warm hospitality. The first thing that struck me was the sheer beauty of the Saxon house itself. Nestled in the heart of the picturesque village of Saschiz, this centuries-old gem exudes character and charm. Its well-preserved architecture and rustic ambiance instantly make you feel like you're part of a bygone era. Upon entering, I was greeted by the friendly and welcoming hosts, who made me feel like family from the very beginning. Their passion for preserving the Saxon heritage and sharing it with visitors was evident in every detail of the house. The room I stayed in was a true testament to Saxon craftsmanship, with its wooden beams, hand-carved furniture, and traditional textiles. It was cozy and comfortable, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the surrounding countryside. Speaking of which, Saschiz and its surroundings are nothing short of enchanting. From the rolling hills and lush meadows to the fairytale-like fortified church that Saschiz is famous for, every corner of this region is a feast for the eyes. The hosts were more than happy to provide recommendations for hikes, bike rides, and cultural excursions that allowed me to immerse myself in the local way of life. And let's not forget the food! The traditional Saxon cuisine served at the house was a highlight of my stay. Each meal was a delightful journey through the flavors of the region, with dishes that showcased the freshest local ingredients. The hosts even taught me a few cooking secrets, making the experience even more special. But what truly sets this Saxon house apart is the warmth and hospitality of its hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was not just comfortable but also culturally enriching.

The host was very friendly and attentive. The bathroom and tent were also very clean. The bed is confortable, providing good sleep. Delicious breakfast, with local products. We had a little dog which received good attention too.

There are still little improvements to do, but overall it was a nice experience in nature, at a fair price, without major issues.
