Résidence au bout du Morne

I did not stay at the property as my plane was delayed 4 hours, for which I notified the property through google from Istanbul where my Yurkish Airways flight was delayed. When I arrived at the vicinity of the property, I called the number on the reservation for the property with no answer. It was about 9:00pm (2100) and it was impossible to find the property. I saw no signage on any property that indicated I was at the correct location. I used google maps to locate the property location. I went to Lux Resorts where Damien the property customer service person tried to assist me. Damien could also not get an answer to her 5 or 6 calls to the Residence au bout du morne. Damien set me up at Vicky’s Guest House where I stayed for the 2 days.

Huge apartment - the whole top floor above the owners.. A well equipped kitchen/dining area with coffee- maker, hob, microwave, large fridge-freezer, kettle and sandwich-toaster.- Smart TV and sofa in the lounge, the bedroom tastefully decorated with a very comfortable king bed, dressing table and lockable wardrobes - lovely bathroom with walk in shower( diffuser hairdryer a bonus). Huge terrace with lots of comfortable chairs and places to eat looking over the ocean and the mango trees.

Just a minor thing - Could do with more kitchen utensils - colander/sieve, small bowls, and a dustpan and brush/ broom. Road a little noisy at times as single, glazed windows - bring earplugs if light sleeper.

The hostel is very good. The price is reasonable. The folks there are very kind, willing to help, especially the young girl. If I go to the montains next time with friends, I will definitely stay there again, for they provide the spcecial service! The only bad thing is we chosed the wrong platform to rent a car, Discovercars.com, which is a scam. It asked us to buy Full Coverage and deposit 500 Euros. And when you return the car with a scratch, that 500 Euros are gone. They told us they would refund us the 500 Euros in 15 days, and it has been about 30 days since they wrote us. Now, no matter how you contact Discoverers.com, there is no reply. Also, we booked a SUV, but given a mini car. Would you spend time to argue with them to ruin your holiday? This bunch of guys just took the money and disappeared! I figured Trustpilot is their partner! 请切记，Discovercars.com是个骗子平台

Lovely apartment and hosts with an excellent breakfast. Very well priced and the apartment is very spacious. Would recommend for sure!

Very nice family owned apartment with a large dining room and kitchen. It had everything that we could possible need. Our hosts cooked us a fabulous mael that they brought to our apartment. It was probably better than a restaurant but we paid resturant price for it. I would recommend staying there and you need your own car to investigate all the cool places in the area. The is a parking spot in front in the house.

It was clean, bigger than the pictures, beautifully decorated and with a lot more common space outside the room itself which was amazing. Sonia and her family were very welcoming and helpful.
