Awesome bungalow and pool with a breathtaking view. Delicious breakfast and superfriendly staff. The manager also helped us finding a ride and a trekking itinierary on our last morning in Borobudur.

Very stylish set up. Welcoming team with Bobby the owner sharing some great temple tips in advance. Extremely well presented breakfasts

The location is further from Borobudur temple than I realised and not near any key restaurants so had to take taxis everywhere which was rather disappointing. Also we all had very disturbed nights due to loud Calls to prayer and traffic noise probably from motorbikes. Couldn’t lock the bedroom from inside. Suggest you check Borobudur access as we only managed to go once.

Bobby was a great host, great guide and runs a great place! Breakfast is delicious...great with kids.

There was a little bad smell around our bungalow, maybe a short lasting problem with the plumberie.

The location is idilic to visit Borobudur temple, the facilities are clean, the decoration is beautiful and the breakfast healthy and yummy. We had a problem with our room and the owner didn’t hesitate to upgrade us to another one superior, as it was free. The toilet is also very nice and clean, with gel and shampoo. The swimming pool is small but the ambience is so quiet and peaceful that you couldn’t avoid taking a swim upon arrival. I totally recommend.

The mattress could be renovated.

We really enjoyed our time here. The staff an bobby are very sweet and helpful. The breakfast was sooooo good and looked beautiful, decorated with flowers. We did a village tour that we would definitely recommend to everyone! Bobbie showed us around and told us about the Indonesian culture. ❤️ recommend everyone going to Janur Bungalow!

We enjoyed our stay at Janur Bungalow. Bobbi, the manager was so friendly and helpful. We didn't have our own transport, so he arranged drivers to take us into town, to the temple or to a restaurant whenever we wanted. Nothing was too much trouble. He is very knowledgeable of the area and was able to arrange tours for us. He will even take you on a village tour or a trekking tour if this is what you want to do, The breakfast here was a real treat. The food was delicious and prepared and presented with great care. Bobbi was able to accommodate my gluten and dairy free diet, and even took the time to prepare me a pancake which he had never done before for my specific diet. It was delicious. We were happy with the location as we didn't want to stay right in town. It was about 5-minute drive from Borabadur temple. Overall, we were very happy with our stay here and would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in a quieter area of Borabadur.

Beautiful location and Bungalows! Very friendly host that is willing to do anything for you (even bring you to the Borobudur temple). Best breakfast in Indonesia so far (pineapple pancakes)
