Check in was not until 3.30, However we arrived in St Ives before noon, Host was more than happy to allow us check in early. Host was very flexible

Beautiful location

Not able to connect wifi to TV. My partner was ill. So would have been perfect for him to watch Netflix Hence we went home early

The room was unclean - I have various pictures to evidence this i.e. carpet not hoovered properly, hairs in the bathroom, significant dust on the blind in the bathroom, marks/on the walls, radiator and bathroom door. Toilet tissue under the bed! No hand soap in the bathroom, the dispenser was empty. The soap dispenser in the shower also had hardly anything in it. General feeling of "grubbiness and the room being unclean". The room has a sea view however the windows are very dirty and need cleaning, this distracts from being able to clearly see the view. Storm Darragh was in full flow however the windows had clearly not been cleaned for several weeks. The entrance was also tired/needs decorating. Personally I feel marketing this as a "boutique" guesthouse is false and misleading. Prior to posting this review, I managed to contact the owner (they had text me on the day we checked out) to offer the feedback, they suggested I should have contacted them at the time of our stay however I was unable to easily locate a telephone/mobile number for them. I checked the website and in the "contact us" section the only option was to submit a form, no telephone/contact details were listed. They have stated the contact number is in the information folder in the room, I cannot clarify this as I did not check the folder. The location is perfect, however the cleanliness standards need significant improvement.

Room was clean & tidy.

Everything! Will definitely return. Location & room were both fantastic. We stayed in Lamorna. Coffee pods were a great touch, also the muffins. Mini chiller was fab too. Love it!

The lighting in hallways n landing not bright enough to see where the steps were.the timer on the lights was to slow to come on.
