I love Sri Lankan people. I've been spending half a year in total with many trips in the country, it's very rare to find people that are not nice, well at Shehara the woman owner of the place didn't make my stay very pleasant. I rented a bike for whole a day, I then checked out at 12 and she wanted the bike keys back, I told her I would still need it for about a hour. No way😅 I had to give the key back and pay a taxi I didn't like her behavior at all, there a lot of lovely families running homestays in Midigama for much cheaper price. And got the bike with almost no fuel and the back tire being completely flat, and the woman saying it was ok. Stay away from this place. Money is what this woman cares about. Room was very hot, hard to sleep at night. Bathroom got very slippery after having a shower and it's easy to fall down, as I did once.

The location is really nice, close to many different surfspots so both more advanced surfers and more intermediate would enjoy. Also the view from the roof is really cool and there is a nice restaurant nearby (Blue Portch). The staff is really nice and always smiling.

I think the room could've been a bit cleaner, especially the bathroom. Also it gets quiet hot in the room as I only had a fan and not too many windows to get some fresh air.

The property is very nice and the facilities are great and seem pretty new. We stayed on the third floor and had a beautiful view and chilling area. Shehara and his family are very nice and helpful, we ended up staying there for more than a month. They also have laundry service and a little kitchen you can use. The location is very good, it's close to a lot of good and cheap restaurants and to Ram’s and Coconut Surf Points.

There is a nightclub close by that has parties a couple of times a week. But it's still worth it the sound is not that loud just a little bit annoying…

The owner and his family were so welcoming and helpful to any request or query I had while staying. Its in a great location, close to restaurants and many surf breaks! It was also very nice to have a desk in the room.

Sometimes the nightclub down the road is quite loud but it was OK. Everything else made up for it :)

Unfortunately, the main road in Midigama is very noise. Also, there's often some clubs playing music till late.

The location is super close to the 'Rams' Surfspot. There are Cafés and a Bus stop nearby. We had a fan, a mosquito net and even though it's pretty close to the main road we didn't here a lot at nighttime. If you are more sensitive in this regard you should be fine with earplugs. The Host was super kind and we gave her our laundry in the morning and it was finished and given to us in the evening so that was super fast. It seemed like here stay a lot of Surfers.
