Vermieterin ist Alkoholikerin. Je nach Uhrzeit entsprechender Pegel…. Dadurch chaotische Organisation. Wollte uns zuerst ein Vierbettzimmer geben, obwohl wir ein Doppel- und ein Zweibettzimmer gebucht hatten. Dann war im Zweibettzimmer ein Bett so wackelig, dass es nicht benutzt werden konnte. Daraufhin ein neues Zimmer bekommen, dass nicht wirklich sauber war. Frühstück war auch sehr dürftig und nicht genau das was wir am Vorabend bestellt hatten.

Handy for our road trip

The place was like fawlty towers, staff were crazy decor was like something I’ve never seen before.

The breakfasts were excellent with a variety of options available. As a single traveler, it is hard to find a true single room. My room was comfortable and clean with a very good shower. Body wash and shampoo was provided. The overall atmosphere of the B&B and the staff was very friendly, feeling like a family home where you are welcome. It is in a great location near the center of town. You can walk to all the shops and restaurants within 10 to 15 minutes. I would highly recommend this B&B and would very much stay there again.

The parking area was a wee bit crowded but it was never difficult to get in or out.

This is the third time we have stayed here and each time we have been made to feel welcome. Breakfaast is excellent. Room was clean and comfortable.

Wet nice property. Well maintained and Jen was a very good host

Bed was uncomfortable but this was possibly only due to being to used to my own bed. It done the trick for what it was needed to do

Location

Taken to three different rooms before found one that the keys worked in. Had to ask for the room to be cleaned and breakfast was slow and then cancelled indefinitely on the last night. Building very tired and the springs were shot in the mattress.

Location was good, easy to get parked nearby. Bed was comfy

Owner seemed disorganised and vague when I arrived and kept confusing my booking with one for a different guest arriving the day before. She seems to run the whole place on her own which is causing problems with the basics of running a B&B. There was a jug of rancid milk in the fridge in the room which left a dreadful smell. Breakfast was a pre-order system and you were to request the time you wanted breakfast at. On the first morning I arrived for breakfast and it took almost an hour to arrive, had the wrong items on it and wasn't cooked properly. I left it and got breakfast elsewhere telling the person who I assumed was a waitress why. Turns out she is a guest who helps the owner out. The next morning the door of the breakfast room was locked although I could hear people talking in the room. I knocked on the door and a few fellow guests were there and they advised me that the owner was absent apparently not having come home the previous night and there would be no cooked breakfast. The door to the breakfast room had been locked by the waitress/guest after she had spoken to others. Whilst the other guests had tea/coffee there was nothing else offered apart from a limited continental breakfast Most concerningly, the front door had been left unlocked all night and as I was in a ground floor room I felt very unsafe. I left that morning after speaking to booking.com customer services. The owner had still not arrived before I left.

Warm welcome, comfortable bed.
