È comoda la posizione perché è vicina a pasikudah beach, i proprietari sono stati gentili con noi ma purtroppo il servizio offerto non è quello di un posto a 4 stelle e non rispecchia assolutamente il prezzo. Se fosse più curata avrebbe potenziale.

Struttura purtroppo molto trascurata, gli esterni sembrano quasi abbandonati. La piscina non utilizzabile perché piena di insetti. Il condizionatore era veramente molto rumoroso poiché vecchio.

Good location right on the beach snd a short tuktuk ride to most places.

The premises feel neglected. There are broken tiles in the pool which could cut someone. Breakfast was 30 mins late when arranged for 8am and the cooked breakfast was cold.

Small guesthouse with a communal area which was great for us as 2 families travelling together. Some of the rooms did look like the pictures but not all. The food was tasty although it was slow (but also due to the more isolated nature of Kalkudah, it did take longer for them to get the ingredients). Although the staff were willing, and helped when we pointed out immediate issues (e.g. faulty lighting, fans and air conditioning not working properly) there was clearly a lack of management and direction.

The pool was not clean - we had to travel to other resorts to use their facilities. This was frustrating as we had paid more for this guesthouse because it had a pool. There were infestations of insects in the corners and the cows were drinking from it, and there was minimal pool cleaning from what we could see. The grounds had some rubbish and there were occasionally cows and dogs wandering through the property. This would easily be resolved with a proper gate to the beach and some efforts from the staff to clean up the garden. Kalkudah and Pasikudah in general seemed to have lower standards than other parts of Sri Lanka but even factoring this in, this property had great potential but fell short of delivering what it promises.

Comfortable guesthouse backed onto one of the most beautiful beaches in Sri Lanka. Rooms were clean and of reasonable size, small pool a refreshing addition with multiple patio/seating areas. I was in regular touch with a coordinator from the Kay Jay HQ who was responsive with good English - he helpfully arranged tuks and taxis when there were language barriers with the local team.

Service was reasonably friendly but "low-fi", food service particularly slow - 1.5 hrs for three sets of sandwiches (Sri Lankan menu options unsurprisingly far better than the Western ones). We ended up eating our main meals in the Passikudah restaurants which were a 10-15 min walk away.
