Mucha seguridad limpio y hermosas instalaciones, los cuartos equipados con todas las amenidades necesarias, frigobar, cafetera, tostadora, calentadora de agua, television e internet, agua. Ubicacion a 5 min aproximadamente del centro.

Temporada de mosquitos, no puedes salir sin repelente en esta remporada. Y la piscina hermosa y limpia pero un poco profunda para nosotros ( 1.70 mts )

Nice view on the golf of Mexico from the room (with balcony) and direct access to the beach from the house.

I was in room 1. There was a repetitive sound coming from inside the house all night, it was even there when I left around 8 am the following day. It made it almost impossible to sleep. I informed the owner who told me she will sent someone to verify later in the day. The safe in the room was not functioning (no batteries) and the cold water tap on the bathroom sink was not working (impossible to turn). No functioning bulb in the shower. Old dog poops in the courtyard (better watch your steps). No food option on site and cash payment only. You'll have to take your car or walk 15 min to the town centre to eat.

What a stunning location, overlooking the beach with palm trees. It is enough out of town to be quiet and there are a few restaurants in walking distance. The host Peter was lovely and was helpful with information. The beach is safe to swim in and in the afternoon there is a breeze to cool things down. Sunsets were spectacular!

The power was off the first day and night, which is not the properties fault, but it was hot. Tap water is salty.

We liked being just out of the main tourist area. The place was comfortable and clean and we liked the owners…teasing them to call us when they were ready to sell the place. Celestun is still a small Mexican village….sure there are a couple larger establishments…but overall, it is a small town and the vibe is very laid back…and then there are the flamingos!
