Good location: close to the beach, restaurants and also walking distance to the city centre Comfortable bed Good value for money

The room and bathroom could have been cleaner The shower was so pressurised it actually hurt your skin and there was no hot water We visited during rainy season so the sheets and towels were damp because of the humidity.

Very comfortable stay and nice spacious room. Great location, right by the beach and bus station, lots of shops/restaurants around. Our 3 night stay was very reasonably priced. We also enjoyed drinks at the Golden Surfer nearby which was owned by the property.

Wi-Fi didn’t work very well. Shower had missing knob so difficult to turn on/off although fine once you get it working. Bathroom was unbearably warm at times so had to keep windows open. DON’T get laundry washed here as we were charged 1800rs per kg (as opposed to 400rs per kg elsewhere) so we ultimately paid 3200rs/£8 for a small bag of washing which we questioned… you can definitely find better/cheaper options nearby.

Nice, big and clean room with a terrace. Looks pretty new. Calm and you can hear the waves. Mosquito net and fan was working. Beach and restaurants nearby. It was really cheap.

The manager/owner is in her beach restaurant mostly if you need to discuss something or pay. But it's not very far.

Booked for 2 nights and stayed almost two weeks, I think that says all! The family is wonderful, it's in a really quiet sidestreet, but only 2 min walk to the beach.

Location. Close to beach in his quietest part and enough close to the city: shops, market, supermarkets. Far from city’s noise and lights, close to nature. clean and modest place i guess it’s best option for short or long staying. Very friendly people are working here

the family owners are so lovely and they brought me some Sri Lanka food specialties, made my laundry, and proposed me lots of different activities like kayak, massage, scooter renting, etc… the room are very comfy and with view on the jungle! the beach is only 100 meters not even from the house and a very good restaurant just next door. I highly recommend this place if you want to stay in Tangalle beach!! the location is right next to the bar/restaurants area of Tangalle beach but still very quiet :) only the ocean noise ! perfect
