The Cider Shed Bed and Breakfast

We enjoyed The Cider Shed hospitality and all that was offered.

The owner had paid a lot of attention to detail and had thought of everything we could possibly need. There was even a good quality torch and a fly swat. The bathroom was practical and easy to use. It was very quiet in the surrounding area which is what we wanted and we enjoyed watching the birds feeding just outside the lodge.

Mad wasps visited every evening - they could have been hornets - but in a rural area this is to be expected. The fly swat dealt with them. We were very lucky with the weather and ate outside every day. In bad weather it would be a bit more tricky.

Lovely setting, quirky but comfortable and totally different. Martin and Tina are the perfect amiable hosts. Brilliant breakfasts delivered direct to your door.

The property and service were excellent in many ways. The views and the bird feeders in the garden were great. Cleanliness and food were excellent.

The snag was that there was no internal access to the toilet and shower facilities. My wife and I need to visit the toilet several times each night and it was not ideal to have to open the living room door and cross the veranda to do this.

Perfect hosts, amazing breakfast, stunning location sitting drinking the cider surrounded by birds. Loved every second.

Having to leave so soon. We only had one night but it was perfect.

Beautiful, cosy and peaceful. Great breakfast! Scenery was idyllic.
