Romantic vineyard getaway on Wine Estate, with wine tasting, hot tub and amazing views

The wine pod was incredible, probably one of the most magical places we have ever stayed. The view from your super comfy bed looking through the vines during sunrise, sunset and the night skies was absolutely mind-blowing, super romantic. The silence, the deck and the hot tub completed the package. The tiny house is quite modern and it has everything you need if you decided to cook, the heat pump kept us nice and cozy on a very cold night! Great breakfast (including fresh eggs) supplied and the wine tasting was amazing (and free!). Pepper, the wine dog was the cutest.

A real escape from the ordinary. Owners were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was great. Spa was delightful under the stars. 🌟

It really is a POD and as indicated on the booking,space is limited. So long as you consider that there was no real downside. 🙂

The pod gave us total privacy. The pod had excellent views over the vineyard to the surrounding hills. The serenity of the location was impressive.

Although we were warned (post booking) that the Pod was tiny, it certainly is. The size means that you will want to relax on the open deck but while NZ has no snakes and spiders, they do have bugs that may force you to retreat to the Pod that has no insect screens and rapidly heats up (mid-March) in the afternoon sun. There is an aircon unit that worked fine although with no instructions in the compendium you are on your own with the remote control.

Our stay in the wine pod was absolutely unforgettable! We had just one night, but it was a perfect blend of fun and relaxation. We arrived at Georges Road Winery in the afternoon, checked in with our gracious host, and then took advantage of the complimentary bikes to explore the nearby wineries (two of them are just a short ride away). We enjoyed a delightful tasting at Georges Road before settling into the wine pod, nestled right on the property with stunning views of the vineyard. The wine pod is beautifully appointed—everything was thoughtfully designed for comfort. The bed was incredibly cozy, the outdoor soaking tub was a real treat, and we loved sitting on the patio with a snack and tea, soaking in the serene surroundings. We also took advantage of the option to have food stocked in the fridge, as there's a grill available, and the meal was absolutely delicious. The breakfast offerings were equally charming, with local delicacies in adorable packaging. Kirk and Allison have truly thought of everything—down to an assortment of their wines in the fridge, making it easy to enjoy a glass and settle up upon departure. Highly recommend this incredible experience!

We loved everything! If you have a lot of luggage, you might run out of space fast, so be strategic with how you unpack.
