Romantic vineyard getaway on Wine Estate, with wine tasting, hot tub and amazing views

Absolutely perfect for our overnight stay. Everything was so nice, beautifully decorated with every appliance you need. Lovely sunset with wine and a massive storm during the night was perfect for this cosy romantic spot. Breakfast supplied was very generous, with all local produce making it delicious. Waking up to a view of a Rainbow in the morning proves this place is a pot of gold

The Wine Pod is very comfortable, peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed gorgeous sunset views, magpie song and the slow pace. The cabin is well positioned for privacy, has a stunning view and well equipped for a simple meal. Also supplied with lovely local produce and products, all explained in the notes. And plenty of wine, of course! A great spot for a short stay 😁 There is a deck and hot tub to enjoy.? Our stay started with a wine tasting at the vineyard. We enjoyed the quality of the wines and the range, which is also affordable (mid price range) and the hospitable approach of our hosts Kirk, Alison and Pepper. We appreciated the nice selection of antipasto to accompany it, all of which is available to take back to the accommodation and enjoy. They were very relaxed about our check in time, which meant we could settle a bit after our trip before checking in to the pod.

This wasn’t a problem for us as we are fit and able, however it may be useful for others to know the space in the pod is tight and there is a walk of around 150-200m to the cabin along grass and pavers that is not suitable to wheel cases (it is a working vineyard after all!). Don’t expect to take all your luggage in if you have several cases, there just won’t be room. A small backpack, overnight or weekend bag is more practical. The parking is safe so you can leave things in your car. Just plan ahead! Otherwise everything else had been thought about and well catered for.

We were welcomed like old friends, treated like royalty, the staff are so good, making us feel special. Super wine tasting, fantastic winery and set up. The accommodation is fabulous, beautifully laid out, wonderful facilities: the bed, pillows and shower excellent. We enjoyed the pre ordered Steak dinner, meant for two but could feed four. Very generous. we barbecued, perfect outlook over the vinery, beautiful sunset and great hot tub. Heaven on earth.

Peaceful location with stunning views and the property was small but modern and elegant. Dinner provided by the host and cooked by us was great. Can’t fault a thing

The cabin is amazing. Everything has been thought through, there is a small kitchen with a double stove to prepare food and even some breakfast prepared for the next day. The surroundings are a dream and we had the whole area to ourselves in the evening/during the night. The owners put so much thought into preparing everything (bread from a local bakery, small gestures like the carefully selected bathroom products, coffee and tea from local shops) and gave us the warmest welcome. The hotpot is just the cherry on top.
