Probably our favorite place where we stayed in South Africa. Beautiful room, delicious home-cooked breakfast, and we really enjoyed the hot tub with a view.

Beautiful spacious room. Bath overlooking the view especially lovely. Comfy bed and pillows.

Breakfast didn’t offer the widest selection - would be nice to have fresh fruit on offer (beyond a few bits chopped with yoghurt)/a wider selection than a pre set menu. Lack of aircon (but please note this was stated/known at the point of booking)

Beautiful views. Friendly and accommodating host. Excellent breakfast. Large comfortable bed, with well equipped room. Hot tub a particular highlight! Great base for exploring Hermanus and Hemel-en-Aarde valley

"Beautiful & cozy"

The hosts and the staff are super nice. They are very helpful and have many tips on what to do, where to go etc. The apartment is unbelievably beautiful and created with so many details. The view over Hermanus, the bay and the ocean is amazing. You find everything you need. We loved the prepared fire place (as it was still quite cold) and I was a huge fan of the heating blanket in the bed. The breakfast is delicious and a perfect start for the day.

From the first Moment of coming in to the area of Ridge House you feel good. Martyn, Samantha and Memory do make everything so nice - outstanding. And the breakfast? Perfect. The Goddess of breakfast is in the house

"Lovely space and a great location"

Loved the wood fired jacuzzi overlooking Hermanus! It was also perfectly placed to explore Hermanus and enjoy wale spotting along the coast. Martyn and Linda were lovely hosts and we really enjoyed our stay.
