Conveniently located in a beautiful location, really nice host, and contains everything one needs! I was super late getting in because my flight to Maumere was cancelled and I had to reroute from Bajawa, which was a hellish experience in and of itself. But Billy patiently waited for me until I arrived at 10.30pm. Terima Kasih, Billy!

A hairdryer in the room would be great. That said, my greatest takeaway from a week in Flores and the Komodo Islands is that I won’t actually die from air drying my hair. 😂😂😂

It was the most wonderful place. Bed was so comfortable. Hot water. BEAUTIFUL VIEW RIGHT BY THE RIVER TOO. The staff were lovely, brekkie was great. I genuinely wish I could stay there for a long long time. What a wonderful little place. It’s like paradise.

Nothing Wi-Fi. But who needs WiFi in a place this beautiful.

Joseph Guesthouse is a couple of simple, but comfortable rooms in a beautiful setting by the river. Billy was so friendly and a lot of fun. We stayed with our two teens, and it was so rainy we couldn't see Kelimutu that day. Billy offered for them the opportunity to paint a mural on his wall. It was such a wonderful experience! We can't wait to come back and totally recommend if you want a simple but comfortable stay that supports a local tourism business. 5th

The room had a bit of an old smell

Great location just outside of the “city”, so you wont have scooters and cars making noise during the night, just the sounds of nature. Benny, the guy in charge, is absolutely amazing. Always happy to help, and always there to greet you with a smile. Made my stay super comfortable.
