Close to the beach, cheap

Very noisy room facing the front of the building as right above popular street, does not look like the one you see in pictures with a quiet back garden.

"Perfect for the laidback traveller!"

Great little guest house one block from the beach and a 5 min walk from the market with a small convenience store downstairs and a balcony. It was one of the cheapest places we had stayed in Thailand, and also the biggest, and most comfortable bed so far.

We aren't resort people so this place was excellent for a one night stop over on our way to Surin Islands. It is right in tourist area in Khao Lak which just isn't our speed, but the proximity to the ocean and price could not be beat! It was perfect for our needs!

Location was fantastic. Close to beach, main street and market. It is a really cool old building, a walk up so any mobility issues would be a problem. Rooms are large and bed is really comfortable!

The mirror in the bathroom was very dirty on arrival and the kettle as well. But we just cleaned them up ourselves and it was all good.

Excelent location, 200m to the beach, good proximity to restaurants. A little bit remote from night market. Very spacious room, everything you need. Cleaning every day, appreciated as well kettle and basic kitchenware. Small breakfast is served, included in price (toast, jam, butter, instant coffee).

Be prepared not to open windows till midnight if your room has garden view: small but very nasty mosquitos. After midnight ok. Some issues with wifi: it's well enough for holidays Netflix ect), but Teams calls are significant struggle. Same problem was through local mobile operator - might be room location, as in other rooms apparently this was not the issue.

"Locally owned, perfect location"

I don't like big resort, therefore I just loved this place 😍 The room was bigger than expected, with a balcony, a fridge a tv and a big bathroom with hot water. The location is perfect, close to town (restaurants and shops) and to the beach. Little breakfast served too. Wifi working perfectly in the room and downstairs at breakfast. Little shop next to it opens from 9am onwards. I can just recommend it 🥳 and I will go back
