Gages Mill

I found Gages Mill delightful. I stayed over a weekend for a family wedding. Location on Dartmoor excellent. Both the room and the informality at Breakfast, which I was able to pre-order the night before, and came speedily and wonderfully to the table. The grounds of the Mill offer fresh air of an evening, and the lamb baaing at me through the fence in the morning was fantasic.

Rustige gelegen klein guesthouse. Prettige hosts. Heerlijk ontbijt.

Sehr ruhig gelegene Unterkunft. Die Gastgeber sind freundlich. In der Bibliothek finden sich viele Reiseführer und Karten für Unternenehmungren in der Umgebung. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit Wahlmöglichkeiten.

Lack of TV.

Cosy home at the border of the Dartmoor park. Hosts are wonderful, welcoming and helpful. Rooms and common areas are cosy and beautifully decorated. Good location to explore the area (Dartmoor, Greenway House, Plymouth etc). Bar with cheap drinks. Good breakfasts.

A bit expensive. Our twin room was a bit small. Although it did not bother us to sleep, nose isolation is not the best, and you can hear the other guests in the evening.

We really liked the location and house in very pretty gardens on edge of Ashburton. The hosts were so friendly and helpful with all of our questions (and we had many as thinking of moving to the area!!). We had a very comfortable stay.
